Does it make sense to use OEM wiring w/aftermarket lights

I'm in the process of adding driving lights.

I like the way the OEM stuff is integrated into the interior and the way the wiring harnes fits under the hood.

But I don't like the OEM lights.

Would it make sense to buy the dash bolster/switch and the wiring harness to use with after market lights?

If your OK with paying the extra money to use the MINI switch and wiring, I don't see why not. It should work. the outputs to the lights are a 12v and Ground much like all other lights.
