Anyone using a Garmin Nüvi 765t, WITH bluetooth audio?

I've got the OEM Garmin external navigation, and I'm looking for some way of getting the audio to play thru the stereo. I saw the harness that newministuff sells, which would essentially serve the purpose. However, for $130 shipped, I'm almost in new navigation territory and this way I could give my girlfriend my old Nüvi.

I see that a few people have bought the Garmin Nüvi 765t, but no comments about whether it will transmit audio via bluetooth thru the stereo. Any comments about that part would be great.

Thanks.

The MINI Bluetooth will only do Phone it will NOT do AD2P stereo music transfer.

I assume that also goes for the navigation voice prompts? I am currently using my iPhone for regular calling duties. If the MINI won't do it due to lack of A2DP then that newministuff harness might be the right option. Thanks.

Which NewMiniStuff harness are you talking about. i did not find one on their site which injected audio into the stereo for what you are talking about (but i may have missed it). Send a link to it if you can.

Sorry, I wasn't clear with that last post, I did it from my phone. :D

The harness plugs into the aux-out on the garmin device, it doesn't transmit over bluetooth. I have seen a few others discuss it here, and they said it worked well for what they wanted to accomplish. I was only thinking that if I could avoid having to take apart the dash, I'd prefer it.

I am not sure how that harness works, but if others have used it an like it then it is probably your best bet. I suspect it may use an OEM NAV voice input on the back of the head unit.

Unfortunately when it comes to some things on this car there is no easy way to get to them. Taking the dash apart is not really a hard job but is very time consuming (although I have it down to about 30 minutes or less now after doing it three times)

Good luck and hopefully someone that has used one can add some more info to what I have given you (which is not much)
