I just snagged a good deal on some winter tires mounted on 15" black MINI steel rims, for my all-jet black '05 R53. ...Just in time to hopefully NOT use them 'til next winter, LOL.

Anyway, even though they're just steelies, I'm slightly intrigued by how these might look with chrome (or polished stainless) trim rings (aka "beauty rings") and center caps on this all-black car. I've searched and came up dry... Has anyone here done this, and maybe have pics? Also, it seems there are a few different width trim rings out there. I'm thinking the MINI-specific steelies would either take the 1-1/2", or the 1-3/4" thick ones, but I don't know which. Does anyone know? One last thing, where would I find the center caps? I know they exist b/c I've seen them in a pic on someone's car... Thanks for any help.

 

My chrome centre caps with MINI on them came with the 16" steelies I got from MINI dealer.
