Can anybody give a gal some insite on a better tire then the runflates that I have on my 2009 MINI S? (6k+ on them now) God knows the ride would be alot better with a different tire on my BabyGirl. Lots of info out there but still looking for some more thoughts...THX

 

Depends on how aggressive you are, how much wear you want to get, how much you want to spend, and whether you plan to use them four seasons or summer only.

Summer only - I now run Bridgestone RE-11 and love them so far. $$$ and will likely get less than 15,000 miles before they're done. But they're AGGRESSIVE if you are.

All season - I run Goodyear F1 All Seasons - $$$ and handle well, but ride almost as hard as the runflats due to reinforced sidewalls. Plan to swap out to something more comfortable when they're gone.

 

Thanks for the info. I only run in the warm months. She is still in the cave sleeping till the last snow comes.

 

My wife runs BFG KDWs and loves them. Good on the track and the street. She has gone through 4 sets in 44000 miles. About half those miles were on the Dragon, driving VERY hard.
