anyone know if generation2 R56 rubber mats will fit into a 2002 r53 hardtop MCS? I like the newer design better then the old ones, but am worried about the fittment of the driver mat and if it interferes with the pedals. Can someone shed some light. Thanks

 

No, they will not fit. The first gen rubber mats are super heavy and DO NOT MOVE. The same can not be said for the gen 2, they move all over and are not nearly as heavy. Go with the correct ones, if you are drivng your car correctly you won't have a chance to notice the mats!
