Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I've missed the 3-2 downshift, once at an autocross, once on the street. Maybe a 1-2 shift too. It seems like the extra-stiff reverse lockout spring stops working, and the shifter goes into the far-left zone way too easily. Good thing reverse is *UP*. So far, I've only had this problem a few times - seems like mostly under hard braking or acceleration.

BTW, is there a positive reverse lockout kit available anywhere?

happy to see i'm not the only one that this has happened to--i've gotten it on hard 1-2 shifts, but also a few times on the 3-2. To combat the problem I've just had to try harder not to pull down too far sideways, instead concentrating on a smooth straight down pull.
