R56 Bi-Xenon Light color
Bi-Xenon Light color
Recently I found that my mini's bi-xenon light look like yellow color because I have an Acura TL so I can tell the difference.
When I turn on the headlight switch the bi-xenon light in the beginning is bright white color but after few second the light getting turning color to yellow.
Is this normal because I haven't drive Mini during night time for long time.
Please let me know your bi-xenon light's color
Thank you

It's natural for them to appear more yellow when they're new. It's called "colour shifting" and after a while you'll see that your lights will appear more white/blue. As of right now they are emitting the most visible light, and as the bulbs age they will get more white but will lose output.
The xenon lights in both of my Minis have been blue/white. Most of the xenons I see coming toward me, night or day, also have the bluish/white color. Occassionally, mostly Audis, seem less bright and purplish. Maybe not fully 'warmed up'?
