Can I make these 6.5s fit?

I am considering some older Diamond Hex 6.5s . They have a big magnet. Assuming that I build or buy a mounting baffel, will these get in the way of the window?

Those look like they stick into the door to far and the window will hit them but without actual measurements on the speakers themselves i can not be sure.

Is 75 mm the maximum depth? Anyone know?

Thanks

I know that 73mm fits, but I don't know how much clearance it has.

Thanks. Turns out that I'm not getting them anyway. However I got a pair of Boston Accoustic Pro 6.5's on Ebay. I'm pretty sure those will fit.

Does anyone know If I can test component speakers like these with a regular AC stereo amp? I want to make sure they work OK prior to installing them...?

sure...they will be 4ohm load instead of the standard 8ohm...but if you are not playing them really loud for long periods of time you shouldn't affect your home amp,
