Washer fluid racing stripes on driverside window

So here in Colorado we use our washer fluid a lot especially when on the freeway after a snow storm. The roads get filthy with dirty slush. Anyways whenever I use the washer fluid it leaves awesome horizontal streaks all the way across my door window. I don't think I am being too picky because by the end of the week my door window is covered with about 15 - 20 long streaks and even affects my visibility.

Is this just the way of it or has anyone fabricated something to block the water run-off? None of my previous cars had this issue.

Thanks in advance!

i tend to just clean it a lot lol, but im curious as well.... like maybe a stick-on "vortex generator" type piece??... hmm

the A-pillar covers need a concave channel on the window side, that would funnel it to the roof...

One of those MINI quirks

Could use rain-x on the side windows, that may help.

share the pain

I have found the best way for ME to deal with the streaks is to carry a roll of paper towels and a bottle of invisable glass in the boot. ( and I tried driving faster first!)
