Getting control arm bushings what else.....
Hi guys:
Well my 2004 R53 has 92K miles and I am starting to get into some repairs. Last week when I was in for another repair when the tech noticed that my control arm bushings were shot. I have noticed over the last couple of months a squeeking, thunking type of sound that seems to come from the left control arm bushing area. as the car warms up the sound goes away or is lessened and then comes back. I think that may be the problem. I currently have Helix camber plates and Koni FSDs installed. Clutch was replaced at the dealer at about 30K
I do have 92K on the car is there anything else to look out for while the car is being serviced in that area of the suspension? Or anything else for that matter?
Thank you

Do a normal suspension check, including ball joints for play, shocks for leaks, and axles for torn CV boots. If your tech is removing the sub frame to change out your CTABs, have them check your power steering reservoir and lines for leaks, since they are easier to fix while the sub frame is out of the car.
