right on. I've been looking for someone to talk to about breaking into heli's I've been working on fixed wind aircraft for 5 years now and have my A&P. I'm doing contract maintenance which pays pretty well, but it lacks the excitement and joy I had while i was working in general aviation. I've worked on, C-130's, P3 Orions, and Cirrus SR aircraft, along with a slew of airframes in between that friends would let me help with. I've always been interested in the heli industry. It doesn't hurt that my best friend is a heli pilot and he's introduced me to many mechs already who really love the craft. He's actually about to take a Med-flight position here in Middle Georgia.
