Handsfree phone R56
Hi everyone...
I have a question regarding handsfree system in my 2007 R56 - MINI COOPER.
It was not equipped with the MINI handsfree system, but when I plugged my IPHONE into the AUX input for music I could heard the caller, and when I speak they could hear me, I didn't put caller on speaker phone either. Do you guys have any experience with this, I was happily surprised.
Happy Holidays everyone!

Did you plug it in via the headphones or the dock connector? The dock connector never plays phone calls for me, its a little annoying. The headphones should though, but that's not the best way of connecting it.
Hi Btwyx,
I pluged into my IPHONE headphone connector - the sound quality seems good for both music and phone calls.
I never tried it thru dock connector, do you know any good handsfree kit for MINI, I know there must be many out there, can you suggest a good one?

I'd like to get a good handsfree bluetooth kit, but I've never found one which works as well as the real one (which Shawn has). I never thought of plugging in via the headphones, it might be worth trying that.
