Are you talking about someone that will "cut out" your resonator ball and replace it with a pipe, or do you have a kit that already has a mandrel bent pipe to replace the resonator ball. There are quite a few threads around that discuss this subject in detail and the general concensus is that if you don't use a mandrel bent pipe, the gains are likely to be minimal or worse yet, might result in less performance than the stock setup!...but it will be slightly louder than the stock two ball setup.

Anyway, don't forget about our friend Dave. He has done a lot of his own exhaust systems including building his own headers for the car(s) that he owns and drives. I'm sure he fully understands the engineering behind the building of a properly designed exhaust system.

 

It's the same setup as Freddy that I want to get done...the BMW Forum recommends him...KC's Custom up in Ramsey, NJ...around $100.

I'm also looking at getting the muffler in the R56 cut-off and replacing with a different muffler...I hate the stock muffler...

I'm trying to keep some of the upgrades close to stock until the drive train warranty is up in the next 1.5 years.

I'm staying with my plan...
