I just got my free service done. My MA suggested I might want the extended maintenance for $1395 (up to 100K mileage or 2012). I was wondering if its worth it.

Brake Fluid
Rear Brakes

Rotors
Inspection 2

Assume I don't do any of the work myself; and I have a independent mechanic who specializes in Mini's. Also I would get a loaner car for my trouble, and I really do need one as I work 30+ minutes from home.

Do you have to buy it right away or can you extend your warranty any time after it is up?

 

If you plan on keeping the MINI bone stock it's a good deal.

That price is good till it turns 36K...then it goes up about $200.

 

If you're a good DIY mechanic and really want to mod, I wouldn't get it. For that price you can get a good set of coilovers and make your MINI look so sexy.
