Badge Removal Clean-Up

So I removed the Cooper S badge and I'm left with a nasty adhesive residue. No real surprise. Any suggestion on how to get it off? Will an oil based "Goof Off" type product harm the paint? Help please!

I use to do vinyl work at a print shop and had really good luck with this product:

3M Adhesive Remover. Works great and is safe for automotive painted surfaces. Please check the label, there a couple of 3M products with this labeling (or close to). I found a can at ACE Hardware.
