Does anyone know if it is possible to get a real wood kit to replace the plastic dash and door inserts? I've seen some stick-on kits that are pure crap.

This would be for the R53-- I think the R56 has some sort of wood option already

I found a couple of NAM threads dating back 2-3 years in which people were exploring the option, but nothing recent.

 

I looked real hard for these kits, all I found was the stick on ones, at that point I just decided to go with the wrap for the dash and the doors. Its not perfect but I am happy with the looks of it

 

id love to have a black stained birds eye dash and accent... very nice.
