I wrecked my cooper s a few months back and I have refused to let go of it. I still have the car in my yard and I just wanted some advice. I was holding on to the car in hopes that the engine and trans would be useful someday, its only got 18k miles. I figured an engine damaged cooper s would show up that I could drop my motor into.

Now im thinking of selling the whole car, as parts, or just parting it out and seeing what i get. Anyone have any input?

Sorry to hear about this. Personally I would get rid of the whole thing and start from scratch. I think you'd be further ahead if you go about it that way. Likely fewer headaches, too.

 

Have you put the car on the marketplace yet? Someone might be looking for MINIs to part out and put into a shell for a race car.

 

Buy the SL-R from superlitecars.com

Part the rest of the car out.

What kind of headlights do you have? Are they the xenon projectors? If so I'm interested if you decide to part.

 

Thanks for the replies. I dont think they are xenon lights, just regualar. That Sl-r is a little expensive but it looks like a great idea.
