R50/53 Finding OEM parts and accessories?

Could somebody please tell me if there's a website out there to purchase OEM MINI parts and/or accessories? Do I really have to go to my dealer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Brian from Classic MINI has been my (and others) go to guy for MINI parts. He works with a dealer, but they sell for less than MSRP. You've got to pay for shipping (unless you're near him in Ohio), but that has always worked out to still be cheaper for me.

I have been going to Brian for MINI OEM stuff as well, just installed the rear fog toggle panel last night... :smile:

I agree with the others. I ordered an extra S-lite for my MCS and I got it shipped here to SoCal for less than MSRP!

Classic offers a discount and is a good source for almost everyone.
The only problem for people in Hawaii and Alaska is the shipping which for me can be up to 40% of my order.
In that case I can get my BMW CCA discount of 15% from my parts dept's retail prices, pay 4% state tax and come out about even.
