Sirius in 09 ClubMan - where oh where?

I have a new Clubman with the HiFi sytem (iPod adapter installed) - so I don not have an available Aux input if I am using the ipod. I want tol install a Sirius radio, but not pay Mini $1200 for theirs. what suggestions do you all have?

1- Because I have the ipod in the aux location I don't really have that port option. I could swap back and forth but that seems ridiculous. what do other people do?

2 - I have the Garmin factory nav on the left side of the steering column so I can not put anything there - where do others install their controller for the radio?

3 - I am considering the following unit - but it does not let you control the channels through the stock radio. is there anything after market that does for the 09 cooper?

Universal SiriusConnect™ Controller System FMSC1 with SCC1
