R91 5 star Bullet wheels
Has anyone thrown these on a non-cabrio? I am thinking of putting them on my Checkmate and would love to see some pics of them on a non-cabrio!
Also, I am looking to lower my coop...are purchasing new springs the best way? Will 205/45/17s with the bullets allow it?
Thanks in advance!

Lowering springs are OK, usually drop your MINI about .6 to 1" but can make the ride a little more harsh and combined with 17" tires that are 45 series could be fairly rough on uneven roads. Make sure the tire you get is more comfortable such as an Ultra High Performance All Season tire.
Also dropping the suspension will tend to wear out your stock shocks faster about one year. If they are already worn then replacing the shocks might be helpful in the long run. Koni Yellow or Koni FSD shocks are good. Shop around for ideas.
