R56 Installing the JCW body kit at home will void warranty?
Not sure what part of warranty you'd be referring to but.....if you were to damage paint, or break an adjoining panel, fog light, temperature sensor, etc. then no, there would be no warranty coverage for those pieces. However, it would not affect coverage of engine, transmission, drive-train, suspension, interior or any other part of the car. Pretty simple really, if you mess something up, it's your "nickel" to fix it.
Also if you are to get it all together and not break anything then the dealer may not warranty those specific parts you put on.
The warranty does cover body panels for rust thru or manufacturing defects. If body panels are put on by the dealer then they would definitely be covered. if you put them on it is just like aftermarket items they are not covered.
