I am surprised at how often and how cheaply sets of the 17" wheels are sold here, and by how few (like, nearly none) of the 15" wheels are offered up. I had expected to see the opposite situation prevail. I wouldn't have twisted the dealers arm to get the 17's on my car, and would have kept the seemingly more precious 15's if I had known this would be the case. Anyway, winter is nigh, and I'm going to need some proper tires on my Mini soon. I like the 15" 8-spoke wheels because they look sort of like the original Cooper's. But if I don't find some soon I will have to turn to the aftermarket. I wouldn't last long driving my (relatively) big wide runflats in the snow. Jimbo

 

Call your local dealer's parts department and offer say, $400 bucks for a set of take-offs including tax and delivery. They should have some available and you ought to be able to get a decent price. Also keep an eye on eBay.

 

Well, I happen to have a set of the 15" 8 spoke wheels with less than 1000 miles on the tires. $400 seems about right, but shipping is another issue as the wheels and tires are in Hawaii.
