Guy came up to me at a rest stop. Asked all sorts of questions about my car. Then began making comparisons between it and his old Festiva. Tire size, vehicle size, size, size, size... I didn't knwo quite how to respond other than: "yep, those were small cars."

 

I use to own a Festiva. I loved it!! He's right they are almost exactly the same size and shape. No comparison otherwise! My tires were 145/12!!! Put 100k on it with out any problems. Bullet proof! It was made by Kia for Ford with a Mazda engine in it.

Yep, it's pretty close in style and look.

the peugeot isn't bad. i drove a 1.6 si (can't remember exactly what the lettering was)...very fun and zippy...reminded me of my old crx.

 

Now I don't think the MINI looks like a Ford Aspire. :smile:

But, with the number of people coming up to me out of no-where to make the comparisons, I just wanted some confirmation that it was happening to everyone. Not that I don't like the Festiva (i really liked the Fiesta better), I just never really thought of the two in the same class as to be compared.
