Will all MC/MCS wheels work on any year?

I have an 07 MCS and I'd like some Web Spokes or some BBS wheels from other Mini's, if they are older than mine or newer will they work? I know they will fit, but what about TPMS sensors and anything else? I have the Crown Spokes and they just seem to have no character like the ones I mentioned.

Also, what about this set here:

Sometime in 2006, MINIs changed from a 12mm lug bolt to a 14mm lug bolt. So, you should be able to use any OEM wheel that has lug holes for 14mm bolts.

Earlier wheels would have to be drilled out. So, add the expense of taking them to a shop that can accurately drill them.

All OEM wheels delivered after Sept 1, 2007 had to have TPMS sensors. Most earlier wheels can have them added.

So, you sshould be able to find some used 16" or 17" OEM wheels for a decent price, but they are heavy wheels and quite expensive for what they are. There are a lot of after-market wheels for the MCS in the $100-200 price range, and many of them are much lighter than the factory wheels.

I like the 16x7 Rota Slipstreams because they only weigh 14 lbs., look good, and are easy to clean. Your Crown Spokes weigh 22.5 lbs.

As you can see from this thread, there are lots of choices.
