We've had Monty for almost 2 months now and I find that I love him more every day. I love the look, the feel, the handling, everything about him. I really have never felt this way about a car before.

About a month ago my husband bought a 2001 Mazda SE. Very, very nice car. I was afraid that I would prefer it over my MINI and that I would lose interest in driving Monty since he isn't a convertible and isn't as powerful and growly. Instead, and to my relief, I find that I still prefer my little MINI. He feels more solid on the road to me and I prefer his handling and cornering. I find that in the Miata I lean a little when I corner fast but the MINI stays sooooo flat on the road that I hardly feel even a sharp, fast corner. My husband says he feels just the opposite so I guess it is good that we both love our own cars best.

I really enjoy the Miata, especially on a warm, sunny day, but my MINI is definitely #1 in my book. Plus there are many, many Miatas on the road - still not too many MINIs out there so Monty gets lots of attention from strangers. He really likes that.
