Recently, my boot has become difficult to close, as sometimes the brake light on the hath hits the boot shelf, and bounces back. I have to stick my fingers in, lift the shelf, and then try to close the boot again?

Anyone have this problem? I assume it's with the shelf, right?

 

there has been a lot of trouble with the boots closing.
new builds may have the problem mostly fixed.
mine was worked on twice.. i cannot remember all the details but i think
the part on top of the bumper was loose one time.. they may have put in
a stronger metal part down there also..
on boot that goes up in air, each side has a rubber stop.. those are adustable and could have something to do with it also.
there are some threads on this issue.. not sure where in this site but a search should pull them up.
