Another successful fun rally from Cincinnati MINI
Yesterday, October 19th was the second fun rally sponsored by Cincinnati MINI. I believe that attendence was over 100 MINIs. We had perfect motoring weather, sunny mid-60's, and almost all back roads. Great Fun, with a two - three hour "Are we lost again?" route, followed by games and a barbeque at Young's Jersey Farm near Yellow Springs, Ohio (home of Antioch College - where radicals come from). A big thanks to the staff of Cincinnati MINI for putting on another great show.
A few observations: Space cloth is very popular, Lapis leather is not. Pure Gold, Velvet Red, and Silk Green MINIs all look great in the flesh, photos sometimes just don't do them the proper justice. The vast majority of MINI owners don't mod their cars at all (not even stubby antennas). Navigation systems are not too popular either. (From the dealership's parking lot: The Pepper White MCS will be a big hit. Get one and name it "Poivre".) Last, and most importantly, MINI drivers are great people.
Looking forward to next year's rally!
