Man, my first 30 days of ownership have been hard on my S.
Two dings (roof and bonnet) from acorns when I parked under an oak tree.
Friday night a guy in front of me flipped up a roofing shingle and it hit my front spoiler. Now the lowest part (black) of my front spoiler is very scratched up. Is this a replaceable part? If so, how much is it?

Bucky, I've replaced mine already. (A driver ran a stop sign and I ran into a tall curb.) As I recall, the part is only $60. Perhaps you can install it yourself and save the labor too. Also, my original black "spoiler" did not always stay attached to the lower air intake screen. No problems with my new one.

God speed.

Buckeye,

There are a number of companies that do paintless dent repair and dings of all shapes and sizes simply vanish. In less than an hour, your two dings would be massaged out of the sheet metal. Probably for about $100. Check it out if you haven't already done so.

Your post reminded me that you don't want to park under trees. A couple years back I had a Lexus SUV and stopped at a 7-11. I didn't think about it then, but I parked under a tall pine tree.

As I was getting back in the car, a very large pine cone fell on the roof, and left a pretty good size dent.

So under a pine tree, if a pine cone doesn't fall off, you still got pine sap and bird poop to deal with.

I mentioned to my sales guy a few days after I bought my S that a clip kept coming loose right where the mesh met the lower part of the bumper. He remembered and because of that they would have replaced that part anyway. So that was good news for me. Now I need to get the dents out from the "lead filled" acorns
