Well.... that depends.... what do you intend to do with the information, once you know what your AFR is?

Especially on a justacooper.

I'm considering adding a whole PLX gauge setup with AFR, EGTs, more temp probes, their OBD-II module, the works.... while it's nice to know your AFR, I can test this periodically with my tuner's portable rig. "Aggregate" AFR is useful for tuning... if I really wanted diagnostic value, though, I'd need either AFR or EGTs for each cylinder - since the issue some of these cars seem to develop is "hot" or "lean" individual cylinders (whether due to unequal airflow, or a clogged injector, or whatever) - and you may not catch that if you're looking at AFR or EGT after all the header primaries merge back together....
