I have an early R56 2007, built 01/07 auto trans. Went to the dealer to buy factory front floor mats. previously,they listed two different part numbers, (early 07 and later 07 models) but now that parts department told me that the part number was consolidated to one number (universal ?). Took the consolidated part number mats out on the factory plastic and tried them. They fit very, very bad. 1" by 2" rectangle opening to the left of the accelerator. Then I contacted WeatherTech, and they said all their 2007 are the same.

What gives? Any know what the difference is between the early 2007 floor layout and the later (after about July/August) floor layout?
