I need a hood and chrome grill for my R56. I've seen a few posts here (from a few years ago) for some discount OEM part sites, but want to ask again for any recent experiences buying good OEM parts for less.

Or if you've upgraded your R56 hood to carbon and want to sell me your old one, I'm a buyer.

I love that these cars are so easy to work on. They bolt together just like my motorcycles - great design from BMW.

 

For brand new OEM parts, the best prices should be from a discount MINI dealer (other vendors still have to order through a dealer to obtain the part). Classic MINI and Morristown MINI offer good prices. Contact them for price quotes and mention NAM.

Check eBay for used parts. If you don't see a listing for exactly what you want, many of the sellers are salvage dealers parting out totaled vehicles and you could ask them if they have the part available.

 

There's also Pelican Parts. I've bought numerous OEM parts from them without any problem.
