TCE is pleased to announce that there are some changes to our line of REAR Big Brake Kits.

New R56 owners can now choose from the TCE/Wilwood version or the all new Wilwood FACTORY rear BBK.

That's right....we sold enough of them in house that the factory felt compelled to produce it for the new car personally! While nearly identical to the TCE version the FACTORY kit comes with matching Wilwood hats (matched to the 12.2 and 11.75 front kits) as well as a vented rotor and their own dedicated bracketry.

The good news for buyers is that their production of this kit has lowered the price of a rear kit for your MINI! The TCE version will be reduced slightly to $1119 plus options. The Wilwood FACTORY kit will be available for only $989 plus options.

This begs two questions;
1. Why is the TCE kit more money? The reason is we have to supply in house hats, rotors, and calipers to match our 13" front kits. While you can use the FACTORY rear kit with our front kits, the designs will be miss matched. No way around this.
2. Will the lower cost R56 kit fit my R53? Whille I suspect this is the case I cannot confirm that. The bracketry mounts to the outer surface of the cast trailing arms which with the hubs bolted to them should be in the same place as the stamped steel hubs thus the requried offset is the same. When I know I'll post up the results.

For thos buyers who want matching rear kits for your 12.2" fronts this is a great bargain! For those current and future TCE buyers this saves a few bucks but unless you can live with different hats and rotor finishes you'd be better served by the higher price package.
