We've long suspected that our Quad Cities pal MINI dmv actually made it out to MOTD and now we have proof positive. He was kind enough to share this pic, noting only that it "sums up the entire event" for him.

A. Now, does the pic might mean that he had a fantastic time, given that
-- The LEO only gave him a warning (true fact), and even gave permission to take the pic
-- He's driving a hot R56 on the Dragon (counts for a lot )
-- The driver is smiling
-- The Smokey Mt. scenery is awesome

B. Or does the pic mean he had less than an ideal time, since
-- He indeed got stopped by a LEO (albeit a warning)
-- He's not moving very fast
-- It's raining and the roads are wet

The only sun we had was at Graceland. Otherwise wet/gloomy and rainy. I drove the dragon in and Jamie (in pic) held on for dear life. He drove it the next day up and back and I held on for dear life. I drove the dragon out. It was great gloomy fun all in all. I got my warning in St. Louis from a LEO.

 

So that doesn't look like St. Louis in the pic...

...did you and Jamie both have friendly roadside conversations with a LEO? Or did Jamie suffer a more onerous fate?

 

He received a written warning. Mine was a verbal warning a few days prior in St. Louis.

 

His was written on the Dragon itself. My verbal was on the cold, wet, dead streets of St. Louis at 3:00am.
