Nuvi through the NAV?

ok, so the nav in my mini is well, not so pleasant. just not as friendly as my nuvi, I love my nuvi, anyone figure out how to get the nuvi program for the mini nav? or maybe see your nuvi through the nav screen? that would be cool. peace. see ya'll around. and thanks

i had the portable mini gps installed--the price was $500 including the install--it is a garmin nuvi unit with the mini name----the volume does not go loud enough though is my only complaint

The GVN53 from Garmin is the ultimate and coolest solution for this. It's a SD-card based navigation hardware w/o a screen. You get this hardware from Garmin and connect it to your factory sat-nav through an interface.

The downside is the Garmin unit costs around 420 $ and interfaces start at 250$ and the good ones reach up to 350 $ :( Installation should be pretty straight forward with OEM stuff but consider taking advice from some ICE shops as well.
