Music Management

Hey everyone!

I was wondering what you all used to manage your music on a USB drive. I've got most of my music on iTunes, but my iPhone is really buggy... Any ideas?

I'm looking for what the folder structure should be, how the playlists should be formed, what format, etc.

Thanks guys!

While I have an iPhone, I decided to use a Nano USB Memory Stick (8GB the latest I could find). I then have all my music in MP3 format, and use a program called MP3TAG to remove all non essential metadata from each MP3 including album art. I only kept Artist, Track, Title, and Genera.

I also used MP3TAG to create multiple playlists, and I stored all my music in the root of the USB memory stick.

I documented much of this in the following post on NAM in our R57 area.
