Wilma gets a face lift
Wilma gets a face lift
No pics yet but Wilma has been sitting for a month getting all the trim redone. What a learning curve, even though I knew better I rushed it, to get ready for the dragon, and it has only gotten worse from there.
In the interest of time I decided to use plastic primer and rattle cans, the first coat of paint adhered great but I ran it trying to rush at 10 pm...I never learn. Well things went steadily down hill from there and I eventually stripped them all the way back to plastic, replastic primed them and then primed them. For some reason I cannot keep the paint from reacting on two peices, I have tried everything I can think of.
So ultimately I am just going to throw it back together this weekend(it doesn't look too bad) and buy the aero kit I want in a couple of months and do it properly with BMW gloss black and a compressor...what a pain.
