Has anyone who has installed the Alta Boost Gauge (or any other boost gauge per Alta's instructions) and had problems with the lighting. I hooked it up to have the white light background during headlights off and red lights with the headlights on. It doesn't work like this, but it when hooked up in the opposite manner (white during night, red during the day) by switching 2 of the wires, it works perfectly. Anybody have a similar experience?

Funnily enough mine had the same problem, but white was fine but when changing to orange it was a mix of both colours then it went a dodge purple colour for some reason. Now i just leave it orange as it looks more OEM anyway. I just dissconnected the white wire and left it as that.

 

Nevermind....Found the problem. The factory wiring harness' white wire was defective - didn't work. I used the other wiring harness that came with the boost gauge to connect to another gauge. After lots of wire stripping I got it working perectly. So, to whoever else has this problem, check the wire harness

took me about 3 hours, then another 3 hours trying to figure out why it didn't work Finally figured it out though!
