The stock CD player has stopped working, has stopped even being recognized even. So I am looking for a stock non-H/K unit for it's replacement.

also, I believe these units were made by Alpine, Can I get a confirmation on that? and are other Alpine units plug and play with out any harness adapters or modifications?

I found one here in the marketplace for $100. Considering the cost for a RMFD one from an aftermarket parts dealer is around $600 this is a very good deal. In addition since this head unit is from an '06 it will play homemade discs and has text display.

 

Don't know why I couldn't find the Marketplace earlier....
