Buying an R53, Wheel/Tire Question - Vehicle History Report?

vroom vroom party startahs.

Buying an R53.

Would love a Vehicle History Report if someone could PM me for the VIN.

I have a question. The car in question already has coilovers. I need a wheel and tire that are going to fit my needs.

Visually, I like the Kosei K1's in 17".
Performance wise, I read that 16" is the way to go, and you lose some of the harshness over bumps with the taller sidewall. I've seen pics of a white Cooper S with 16" Feathers they looked great. So my question is multi-part.
  1. Are K1's for 2002 Cooper S models hubcentric?
  2. Anyone have prices on 16" and 17" K1's, cheaper than Tire Rack?
  3. I've read that 16" Feathers can be had for ~$100 each. Where?
  4. What are the best tire/wheel sizes to take advantage of the coilovers without rubbing?
I'd like to run something wider than the 205 factory size without going crazy.

Any help on the wheel/tire issue and/or the vehicle check is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Whoa! Don't knock yourselves out fighting to be the first poster!

Disregard vehicle check. I squared that away buy purchasing a carfax. Unless someone has access to the mini version of DCS.

I'd still like some input on wheels and tires. Go wild.

Answer number one. K1's are NOT hubcentric. They require the rings.

On to the next question!
