YeeeHawwww MINI RAFTING!!!!!!

We had some pretty incredible rain and flooding in the Houston area last evening, with more expected today.

WOW~! My Zuggy cut through it like it was a beautiful sunny day. It was just me and the pick-up trucks making our way through the high waters. Pretty funny to pass all the cars stopped on the side of the road, who didn't feel comfortable taking their "normal" sized cars through the water. They must have looked at my size-challenged MINI in awe.

Zuggy felt so solid! Rafting anyone??? I also now have the cleanest underbelly in my neighborhood.

Here's a pic of the "shallow" stuff!

Glad you made it, but be very careful with standing water. The manual states 1 foot is the absolute max and others have had total engine failure, not covered by warranty, due to "rafting." Some had their collision insurance cover the repairs, but why chance it?
Do a search and you'll find plenty of failures. Maybe they raised the intakes on the newer models but I'm still very cautious about it. I can see how hitting puddles at speed could send the water right up the hood and into the air filter.
