Hello Everyone My name is Semih and Got 2009 MCS, Im a newbie in here but got a important question and need your help mates,

I bought a Alta DP and a Quicksilver Cat Back for my car, but the downpipe designed for Alta cat back and its 3'' but QS is 2.5 '' its kind a designed for stock dp , i will going to cut Downpipes second Cat filter and replace it with cat back should that inc difference makes any performance loose for me ? and do you think Alta DP and QS cat back is good combination? Thanks for helps too much...

exhaust depot has a oem fit highflow downpipe & they don't have a problem with it throwing a CEL, so you might want to check that option out.

Thanks for asking!

Couple things. Where are you located? We now offer a single Cat DP for those with either US JCW 09+ cars, or EU (world) spec cars that only have one OEM cat.

Second, I may be able to provide a trumpet that will change the 3" down to 2.5" but your local exhaust shop can likely do the same thing with less expense.

If I can help in anyway with this project, kindly let me know! Thanks again!

You might as well tack on the cost of a scan guage II or DashDynoSPD to read those CELs that will inevitably come from the Alta downpipe. I have one on mine and I really do love it, but the weekly check up of CELs is very annoying.

If you can I would see if you can return it and go with the Exhaust Depot downpipe!

Be sure to check the code # you are getting. Also, we do offer CEL solutions for clients that do get them, free of charge. If even that doesn't solve the issue, I do NOT suggest clearing the code. I got ONE P0420 code on my 08 MCS and didn't clear it, or use our CEL fix. MIL went out within 10 start cycles and stayed off. I then scanned the ECU and found the code had moved into the pending, but not current. Again, didn't clear it and it never triggered a light again.

The CEL is annoying for those few that get them. No argument there. But give the above a shot, OR contact us for a CEL fix. We always want to help those that have any issues or concerns. Your business is important!
