Had a blow out and looking for ONE 175/65 R 15 Continental Tire to get me back on the road. This is the standard tire that is on all 15" Mini Coopers, so maybe you bought some upgrades and don't need them anymore. I'm looking for you!

We just had one replaced, so I can give you some advice. First, no one has them in stock. The cheapest price was with the Tire Rack; however, they could not tell me when they'd be available. Believe it or not, the second cheapest price was at the dealer. Ours was $69 with tax. The local Discount Tire put it on (mount and balance) for $16.

Their comment was interesting. They said that there was so much demand for this OEM tire, they were thinking about stocking it. Apparently, they blow out pretty regularly.

 

UPDATE:

After a lot of searching (tire rack didn't have any, neither did any store in Michigan), I was able to contact Continental Customer Relations (via Discount Tire Direct), and they had one put aside for emergency purposes like this. In just over one week, I had the tire shipped and put on my vehicle Due to the low mileage I had on the tires, Discount Tire provided me a "good-will" adjustment, and I bought the road hazard coverage on the other three. I was out the door at $75.00. Not bad considering, I didn't have to buy the tire and got coverage on the others if this happens again.
