R50/53 changing out 16 inch tires

Has anyone changed out their 16 in run flat tires for a regular tire. if they did, did they do a swap with the dealer. I want the 16 in star wheels (white of course), but I don't want to deal with the hassles of the runflats if I get a flat. Cuz I'm planning on doing some major motoring
