Switching a 2004 head unit with a 2005
Curious if this will work. I have a non-HK 2005 head unit that plays MP3s fine, and I have a 2004 HK car that I'd like to swap it into. Will it work, and does it matter if they're HK or not?

Yup, it will work just fine - the HU's are the same (at least for US cars), HK and non-HK use the "Boost" HU.

I did the same swap in my '04 MCS...put a HU from an '06 in it.
