Far out! It's a wonderful feeling, but the best is yet to come. Another Aida baby
comes home to roost.

Way to go, docdesi! I have a recommendation for you. There are quite a number of
cars waiting to be prepped and sent home at OUR dealership....and they only do a a couple a day. If I were you, I would show up in person and do a little pushing or begging to get yourself higher up in the pecking order. If not, you could be at the dealer longer than you were at the VDC.

Still waiting..... My car is getting the windows tinted but not until Friday and my dealer (Dreyer and Reinbold in Indianapolis) does not do deliveries on the weekend :???: :???: :???:

So it is now maybe Monday before I get my baby.

Goofygrape, to answer your question regarding names, I think I am going to call him "Bertie" after the literary character Bertie Wooster who was a fashionable, happy-go-lucky gentleman of leisure in several P.G. Wodehouse books. (If you ever want some great laugh out loud reading, I recommend Wodehouse if you are not already familiar with his books.)

I suppose if I had bought an "S" I would have had to name him Jeeves since he always had more HP under his bonnet than Bertie.

The windows got tinted today so I am able to pick up Bertie over a long lunch on tomorrow (Friday) in time for some motoring over the weekend
