The stitching pattern is out of a 02-04 'sports' seat but the car is a 05-06 either way those are done by a upholstery shop aftermarket.

Really?? Hmm. I should have been more specific, it is a 2006 with JCW package. Definately aftermarket?

The back seats match too.

Those look out of place in the interior, since the colors don't match.

I'm actually wondering if that's a Checkmate based on the blue dash and chrono... but can't tell if that's space blue or "regualr" blue. Wonder if the owner got sick of Mini's Space Cloth and the pullers it's got, sold it off, and got something else? That'd be too bad, the Checkmate interior is awesome.

They're not aftermarket seats. They were a seating feature up through 2003. My 2003 MINI had those seats. Its called "profile leather" and its not perforated but there are actually little bumps all over the seats and I thought they were pretty cool. In fact, I've missed them ever since I sold the car 3 years ago. I wish I had them on my MINI right now.

Also, its shiny cause of the cleaner that someone used on it.

They are not aftermarket covers. They may have bought the seat leather off someone else if the car is an 05-06 but those are definitely the seats from an '03. Mine were EXACTLY like that. They look shiny because of the cleaner that the person used, I PROMISE.

Those DO look cool! I've never seen that in a MINI. Maybe I'll get my chance at MOTD.

I ordered mine with Kaleido cloth and have been very happy with it... just not a big fan of leather. Maybe I should have checked that profile leather out a little more.

They don't exist like that, I'm 100% sure

If they're aftermarket covers, it seems strange that they would duplicate the little cloth tag on the side of the upper portion of the seat. To me, they look almost like the Profile Leather Sport Seats from post #9 (the right-hand picture).

I looked again after the last post and noticed... the MINI pictures of the profile leather show the "profile" portion (the bumpy part) extending around the shoulder on the side of the seat. In the 1st pic at the top of the thread the what-woul-be bumpy part does NOT extend over the shoulder. hmmm...

They look squeaky. Agreed, could be the cleaner/shiner/appearance-product used, if it had polish or silicone in it.
