Whine, whine, whine, and no, we’re not talking about the whine of those sweet sounding superchargers, we’re talking about the fruit of the vine this time – WINE!

Oregon wineries rank right up there with the best of the best and we’re going to tour some premiere wineries in the area, get this, riding around in a limousine. We’re aware that your MINI will be whining while you’re wining, so give it a bath and put it to bed, explaining that it’s good for all concerned. The limo service is perfect when attempting to pour a glass of champagne while navigating through the corners, and Aye Cheehoowahoowa!, they’re equipped with digital cameras and will send photo magnets after the event (a new form of grill badge?).
Recalling MINIac behavior in the past makes the mind merely reel as to what this event has in store. Beware: You could be the star in next year’s slide show!

But the adventure doesn’t end with wine tasting, it will continue on into the night with fine dining and one of those famous PDX MINI sleepovers. Be sure to tell your MINI not to wait up; explain that the overnighter is mandatory for all participants.

Wine Tasting Fees: $5 to $10 per winery. The usual club entry fee will be waived, and radios would probably be redundant.
