Professors Kimmel and Reynolds will be offering this course only during the Fourth of July holiday and it will not be repeated until some later date or perhaps never again, depending on the mood of the Dean of Events.

This promises to be an exciting nature field trip of the wild and wooly Rogue River environs with the expert guides of Jerry’s Rogue River Jet Boats.

• July 3rd 12:00 – 8:00 pm
• 8 credits

The next section of the course will commence at Gold’s Beach “Party at the Port Festival” with music, food booths and a great fireworks display in the evening.

• July 4th - all day
• 12 credits

Attention: Pleased be advised that the two 1-unit requirements must include at least one upper level driving experience before the course commences or after 3 days, whichever comes first.

All students are responsible for their own transportation, extra credit for driving the MINI, reserving accommodations and boat reservations. Driving protocol is required reading prior to the commencement of the course.

Note: For those wishing to audit the Jet Boat course, there will be day tours available to exercise your MINIs.

The Registrar will need the following information:

• How many cars / how many people.
• Where you have secured your lodging reservations.
• How many will be attending the Jet Boat tour lab.

Enrollment Fee: $5 for members, $15 for non-members at time of meet-up.
Payment of the Rogue Boats ($82.00 per person) are due by June 1st so that we can give them an accurate count for our group. Payments can be made the club email at the following address.
Course materials required: FRS/GMRS radios, set to channel 7 / Subchannel 21.
Course sign-up deadline: RSVPs must be received by June 1st or a substantial late enrollment fee will be applied.
Graduation ceremony upon completion of course will be at The Bench Racer’s Tavern to prove or disprove the Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns
