I would like to share some classic mini information here so that some of you can clearly know which model your mini is and which year exactly it from.

Hi..I do not quite understand this thread???...............If your trying to make a list of the different MKsthen you need to read this book Mini Fourty years...this has all of what you are looking for...............

Nckt time I shall read properly But they seem to of left out Mini 1100 special's released in 1970 to celebrate 20 years of mini production...................

 

Hi mk1leg, this is just me n some of my friends' research and we try to compile as much as information we had on the www. The Mini 1100 special edition release on 1979. This model is for Mini 20th Anniversary Special Edition. The color of the car painted in either Silver or Rose metallic. The car has come with 10 x Mini Special 5inch alloy wheels and wide 165/70/10 tyres. Unique centre console fitted along with larger engine as with the Mini Clubman model. The information is under

Yes there are a lot of books including Mini Fourty years, 35 years, 30 years...etc. Hopefully there will be a book of Mini 50 years this year.
