I have ordered the Alpine CDA 7998R Fantom Face head unit, and want to know if the blitzsafe adapter you refer to will work with this deck and the multi function steering wheel. When i follow the thread below it seems to indicate that the blitzsafe only allows the OEM multi function steering wheel to work with an alpine CD Changer through the original head unit.
Will my Alpine CDA 7998R Fantom Face head unit work through the multi function steering wheel using the blitzsafe adapter?

I have the CDA-7998 (but I'm in the States so not the "R" version). I didn't use the Blitzsafe at all. I connected an Alpine CD changer to the CDA-7998 with the Alpine AI-NET cable that comes with the changer.

To enable the MFSW to work with the deck I used the SWI-X adapter from PAC.

Hope that helps.
